2nd Annual Josh Brown Classic a Success

It was beautiful Saturday outside, but it was just as great inside Exeter Junior High School for the 2nd Annual Josh Brown Classic. The Josh Brown Classic is an annual event in honor of Joshua Wayne Anthony Brown, an Exeter High School student who passed away at 17 years old in 2008. He collapsed playing basketball outside and it was later determined he had an enlarged heart. The event is hosted by the Murray League and the Forever Impactful Organization. All proceeds from the event go to the Josh Brown Scholarship Fund, which is awarded to either a male or female senior basketball student. This year's winner was Colin Payne.

There was 8 teams, food, raffles, DJ and trophy and shirts handed out to the winners. The MVP of the tournament was Kassim Green, and the champions were Team Work. Will see if they can defend their title for the 3rd annual. This event should only continue to grow and get better,
